Rod Senft

Rod Senft

Trigger Mafia Drums and Percussion

Rod Senft is a Vancouver based drummer whose been playing professionally for about 30 years, during this time he has toured North America, Germany, Belgium, and The Netherlands with a variety of different artists, most notably with a hard rock band called Krome and a rocking blues trio named after a great musician Jason Buie. Rods influences include John Bonham of Led Zeppelin, Ginger Baker of Cream, Jazz artists Tony Williams and Miles Davis, Blues players like Albert King and Stevie Ray Vaughan and too many others to name. Having an array of influences like these growing up has led Rod to playing in a variety of different musical situations and genres, I guess you could say he is a bit of a musical chameleon. To this day he still studies his craft , learning new techniques, listening to the latest releases and playing with whomever needs a drummer, which eventually led him to playing with Shawn Meehan and Jay Wittur in a great new outfit called Trigger Mafia. Rod is totally pumped on this new band as it encompasses all that has influenced him over the years, plus the songs are great, so the story doesn’t end here we will see what the future holds for these boys.
